Hottie of the Week: Cheyenne Silvers

Cheyenne SilversBy Stranga The GreatHip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
What’s always interesting to discuss is the impact the media has had on the world in terms of connectivity. Take someone from 100 years ago, for example, if they were exposed to certain things, they would take an interest in it. In 1914, it would be highly unlikely that someone in Oklahoma would want to do modeling.
Fast forward to the height of technology with i-this and i-that and anyone can see anything from anywhere. Cheyenne Silvers is among the people growing up in this technology age and she is from Oklahoma. The fact that she even attempted modeling shows how much times have changed.
Not only is Cheyenne Silvers attempting modeling, she is succeeding as one of the most-popular urban models in the industry. She is a fixture in the magazines and she recently took time out to talk to Hip Hop Vibe. In her Hottie of the Week feature, Cheyenne Silvers discussed her rise in the world of modeling.
Read the entire interview below:
Can you tell us a little bit about the challenges of modeling out of Oklahoma? The most challenging part of modeling in Oklahoma City mainly is that Texas is our only access to spread your brand. Urban cities like Atlanta and Las Vegas have access to casting calls, magazine shoots, and other opportunities. In Oklahoma City, the only access is Texas, which is fine, but being in Oklahoma, you have to travel more than usual to truly proceed in your field of work.
Out of all the publications that you have been featured in which one means the most to you? My Sweets Magazine publication would definitely be my most important feature, simply because Sweets Magazine is a highly populated magazine across the nation and to be apart of it is truly a big accomplishment for me.
What do you consider to be the sexiest thing about Cheyenne Silvers?Cheyenne Silvers sexiness is my persona, sensuality, honesty, and my sexiness is who I am as a person.
Do you ever get nervous being half naked in front of cameras knowing men are lusting after you? Personally, I’m never nervous shooting implied nude photos. I’m very comfortable with my body and aware of the consequences that comes along with my photos. I’m aware of course that men lust over numerous beautiful women across the world and Cheyenne Silvers is apart of it.
You put a lot of work in Atlanta. How did you get introduced to the Atlanta modeling scene? Basically, Mr. Shawn Darnell shot me in Atlanta for Fyne Girlz Magazine when I was first starting in the industry. After that I was introduced to various contacts around ATL who are in the industry and I took the lead from there, thus far expanding my brand
You mentioned that you are currently in college. What field are you studying and do you plan on pursuing it as opposed to modeling? My education is my desire and more so I don’t feel that my modeling career is opposed with my college career. My life term goal is to become a homicide detective. Furthermore, Cheyenne Silvers does not intervene with the other side of my world.
Who would you say is the sexiest model besides yourself? I am a fan of Melyssa Ford, she’s a classic sexy, confident and very sensual woman just like myself.
Stiletto’s or Sneakers? Boy shorts or lace panties? Stilettos and lace panties please (Smiles and winks).

Hottie of the Week: Ashley Danyielle

Ashley DBy Stranga The Great
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Atlanta is considered by most as the mecca of the South when it comes to hip hop music and culture. Historically and politically, Atlanta is the capital of Georgia, the Peach State. A lot is often said about the Georgia peach and it is used as a metaphor to describe a curvy woman.
Fittingly, Atlanta is filled with women with the Georgia peach and this includes popular video vixen, Ashley Danyielle. She recently appeared in Lil’ Scrappy’s music video for “Helicopter” and she has done her magazine spreads. There are a lot of ladies doing it right now and Ashley Danyielle is definitely in the mix.
This week, Ashley Danyielle is holding it down for Hip Hop Vibe as the Hottie of the Week. She spoke about a few topics during her interview, including which hip hop artist she prefers and why. Taste in music is only a small portion of what makes Ashley Danyielle tick and she shared portions of the rest in the interview.
Read the entire interview below:
What was your first experience modeling like? Extremely nerve racking, I’m kind of shy so I was a little uneasy about jumping into the modeling industry but, once I got pass the gitters I was totally comfortable with it.
Being sexy must be a tough task so tell us how you keep that sexy body of yours looking good? Believe it or not, I don’t work out. All I eat is pasta and I love drinking lots of water. Keeping your body hydrated helps you to maintain a decent body weight.
Do you think it’s over saturated in the urban modeling field? YES! There is so much competition and there are so many beautiful faces to look at, however we’re all popular in our own way, which makes us all unique.
How hard is it for a model to get her career going being in the city of Atlanta? Not hard at all, Atlanta holds some of the most well known photographers in the urban entertainment industry. Working with one of them can definitely branch you over into working with a hundred more.
You were featured in Lil Scrappy’s “Helicopters” video. Can you tell us how it was working with Scrappy? It was so much fun, Scrappy is hilarious! Scrappy has a great personality and he makes all the models feel comfortable working around him.
Would you consider yourself more of a cover girl or a video girl? Hmm, Hip Hop Stardom, Asis, SHOW, and a few other magazines although, I’m mostly a music video girl.
What are your future plans and where do you see your career in the next year? I, more than likely, want to roll over into acting or into starting my own line fashion.
What can a man do to turn you on and what qualities do you find attractive in a mate? Massaging my shoulders definitely makes me feel some type of way (Laughs) and, as far as attractive features in a mate, I would say it would have to be his smile, followed by a nice set of muscles.
Drake or Kendrick Lamar? Drake! He speaks to the ladies in all of his songs!

Hottie of the Week: Jayda Starr

Jayda StarrBy Stranga The Great
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
With a New Year brings a new and fresh perspective on life and a new outlook on old situations. Often, people start their New Years with much promise and this is the plan at Hip Hop Vibe. The New Year, here, brings about a new lady to sit down and allow us into her world, thank you Jayda Starr.
Published in a number of urban magazines, Jayda Starr is a fixture in the entertainment landscape and she’s come a long way. Starting out as a dancer, initially Jayda Starr was tempted by the money. Of course, money is always a winning factor, but there is so much more to it now.
Jayda Starr explained in her interview that she has always had a vision of going far in her profession. She detailed how she landed some of her bigger magazine features and she also offered a glimpse into her world. As she continues to progress with her career, Jayda Starr keeps her head on straight, so the business is always correct.
Read the entire interview below:
Describe what it’s like to be Jayda Starr? Being me is pretty good, I wouldn’t want to be anyone else. I think I’ve got the “me” thing pretty down pat! Sometimes it has it’s challenges when you’re a model who’s in demand, you’re stretched in a million different ways. You’re always doing so many things.
You started out an exotic dancer. Do you have to put on a game face when your getting all that sexual attention? Definitely have to keep the poker face on! People get lost in the pretty looks, but you have to remain in control at all times in any situation because of it. Basically, the pretty and aloof thing won’t work out too well.
How long have you been a dancer and what led to you making that decision?I’ve been a dancer for six years now. I’m what you call a vet in the strip game. I started dancing around the age of 19, the money is the attraction. Being able to provide for yourself and be in control of your own finances. You can best believe it’s a lot of income.
What is it like working with Kay Slay at Straight Stuntin magazine? I met Kay slay at the 2012 Urban Model Awards in DC. At the time, I wasn’t published in anything big yet. I just decided to balls to the wall it and see what connects I could make. Straight Stuntin was a major publishing opportunity for me, people still know me from the issue I was in. Slay is a cool dude and I’m grateful I had the chance to be in the mag.
Seeing how you get a lot of attention from the urban street publications do you prefer thugs or more sensitive men? Well, I wish there was such thing as both in one person! Open the door and smack your ass when you walk in.
Have you or would you consider dating a rapper or an athlete and if so who would make the cut? I’m not sure about that. There’s so many challenges that come with dating someone famous and so busy. I’d honestly date an athlete before I date a rapper.
What upcoming projects do you have in the works for 2014? Well 2014 is a big year for me, I’m launching my website, iheartjaydastarr.com, with an exclusive iCANDY video not seen by anyone! Plus I’ll be on the move with my seven city tour.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve been asked to do as far as modeling? I was at a shoot in Atlanta for the cover of Fyne Girls Mag and Stunnaz Inked with photographer, Shawn Darnell, and he asked me to shoot on the balcony on the 22nd floor! I’m crazy afraid of heights, so it was a challenge. Plus it was very cold around that time.
Bubble baths or showers? Epson salt bubble bath!
Lap dancing or twerking? I’ll take twerking over the lap dancing. Seems like you can burn more calories.
What’s that one song that when it’s played it makes you wanna get freaky? Play anything Keith Sweat, I love old school R&B. There’s a song for whatever mood you may be in.
How can we find you on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook? You can find me on Twitter @jayda_starr, on Instagram @jayda_starr, Facebook is Jaydastarrpromopage, and starting the New Year, you can find everything me on iheartjaydastarr.com
