Pretty soon, the world has to begin paying attention to the North Carolina hip hop scene because of the amount of talented rappers in the state. For that matter, there is also plenty of talent in South Carolina. But, Fayetteville, North Carolina looks like one of the biggest breeding grounds in the Carolinas.
J. Cole put the city on the map, Rain and Lotta are also doing their thing, but M.A.C. looks like he can have next. A rising figure on the scene, M.A.C. is fresh off the release of his mixtape, Memoirs of a B.L.A.C.K. Sheep. The mixtape dropped this past week and it was met with positive reviews.
M.A.C. looks like he may have next when it comes to hip hop, in general. His buzz is picking up, so it made sense to sit him down for an “On The Rise” interview. Because of the proximity, the decision was made to do the first-ever on-camera “On The Rise” interview on Hip Hop Vibe.
